Holacracy at Viisi Labs
In a interview conducted by Anne Corré of Dutch newspaper NRC Next, our colleague Tom van der Lubbe talks about Holacracy. Holacracy distributes authority and decision-making throughout an organisation, and defines people not by hierarchy and titles, but by roles. They are not ‘managed’ in a traditional way, but are driven by intrinsic motivation and fulfill roles for which they are talented and that fit with their own passion and interests. At Viisi Labs we use Holacracy to create organisations that are fast, agile, and that succeed by pursuing their purpose, not following a dated and artificial plan.
